Steve is a Registered Psychologist with 15+ years’ experience working with adults, adolescents and children.
Steve spent the last 12 years working with Juvenile Justice mostly in correctional settings, and has also worked in educational, mental health and disability settings. Steve has worked in private practice since early 2017.
Steve’s particular interests and skills include working with trauma and PTSD, ADHD/Neurodivergence, anti-social behaviour, behaviour management, parenting, substance abuse and divorce and child custody disputes as well as anxiety and depression. He has extensive experience in group therapy and workshop and training.
Whilst much of his history is working with severe and complex presentations, Steve has vast experience with all wide array of clients, presenting with all manner of concerns. Steve’s friendly and easy going nature helps clients to feel comfortable and confident in a therapeutic environment.
Steve is currently one of the team aligned Psychologists for the Parramatta Eels and Wests Tigers, as well as being a Specialist Psychologist for the NRL in anti-social behaviour, trauma and neurodivergence.

More recently Steve is also a Psychologist for players association with the Australian Football League (AFL), Cricket Australia, and has worked with athletes from the A-League, and other Olympic Events.

Services
Fees:
Individual Counselling: private 50 min sessions are charged at $260, with a possible medicare rebate of $96.65 with an eligible mental health care plan
Workshops: due to the wide range of topics covered as well as differences in session duration please contact us for an estimate
Individual Counselling
Services can be provided privately, through medicare, and other approved health funds.
A valid referral is only required if you wish to claim a Medicare rebate
Referrals to a psychologist may be obtained from either a GP, psychiatrist or paediatrician. Referrals from a GP are known as a Mental Health Care Plan. You will need to speak to your GP to see if they feel you are eligible for a GP Mental Health Care Plan. You can only receive a maximum of 10 Medicare-rebated psychology sessions per calendar year.
